Alla Ter-Hakobyan

Alla Ter-Hakobyan was born in Leningrad (Saint Petersburg). She wrote her first poem at the age of 12 and from 14 she had her poems published. In 1962 Alla Ter-Hakobyan graduated from the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Philological Faculty of Yerevan State University. In 1965 - laureate of a poetry prize organized by Leningrad television. Between 1968 to 1971 she worked at “Literaturnaya Armeniya” magazine. She studied at Moscow Literary Institute after M. Gorky from 1973 to 1975. Alla Ter-Hakobyan is an author of collections of poems published in Russian. Since 1968 she is a member of Union of Writers of Armenia.
