Enrico Cannio was born in Naples, he played the piano since childhood but preferred orchestral conduction. He worked with three music schools of Naples and led three orchestras of the local theatre. In 1915 his best known song “The soldier in love” was released. Enrico Cannio is author of numerous famous serenades. He died in Naples.
