Franz Liszt

Franz Liszt was born in Austria. He learnt playing the piano at the age of 6 and after 3 years he had brilliant concerts. Between 1822 to 1823 Liszt had some concerts in Vienna, after he moved to Paris to continue his education. Between 1838 to 1847 had concerts in Europe as a pianist. He became famous in 1830s. During 1860s to 1880s Liszt wrote choral works, music for organ, piano pieces, romances and songs. Franz Liszt participated in foundation of Music Academy of Budapest and was its first chairman. He died in Bavaria.
