Gagik Hovhannisyan was born in Leninakan (Gyumri). He finished Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography. He is engaged in journalistic activities. His psychological thriller “Morning of forgotten chrysanthemums" based on terrorist acts in the Armenian Parliament (1999) and in New York (2001) is ready for publication. Since 1989 Gagik Hovhannisyan is a member of the Writers Union of Armenia.
