Hovhannes Harutyunyan

Hovhannes Harutyunyan was born in Yerevan. In 1969 he finished P. Terlemezyan art school, in 1975 - Yerevan Academy of Fine Arts. He painted compositions, landscapes, portraits, author of biblical and church scenes, frescoes. Since 1982 – member of Painters Union of Armenia. In 1990 Hovhannes Harutyunyan was on a creative business trip to Paris and actively participated in the acquisition of a workshop for the Union of Artists of Armenia. He had solo exhibitions in Paris, Moscow, London and Yerevan. In 2012 was awarded with medal and diploma from “L'Acaddemie des Sciences et Lettres”. In 2015 in the Paris Gallery his painting "Der Zor" was awarded the "Golden Canvas" prize by the Council of the National Federation and Culture of France.
