Karlen Mirzoyan

Karlen Mirzoyan was born in Yerevan, finished music college, after continued education at Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. For more than half a century Karlen Mirzoyan dedicated himself to the studies of national instruments. In 1965 he founded “Erebuni” folk ensemble, in 1976 - State Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenian Folk Instruments, in 1982 – “Tkzar” orchestra of ancient wind instruments, in 2016 “Armenia” orchestra of Los Angeles. 2001 to 2011 he was also involved in musical activities in the United States. Karlen Mirzoyan is the author of “Andradardz” book.
