Xana Zazê is a Kurdish woman dengbêj (singer) from a Yazidi family originally from Beşiri in Batman province. According to a Medyascope article on the history of dengbêj singing at Radio Yerevan, she was born in 1960, is one of the youngest dengbêj of the Radio Yerevan generation, and joined the dengbêj movement in the 1980s. Her recordings are kept in the Public Radio of Armenia archive.
