Margo Ghukasyan

Margo Ghukasyan was born in Leninakan (present day Gyumri). In 1950 she finished Yerevan State University, faculty of journalism. For many years she worked at “Pioneer” newspaper and “Garun” magazine. Several of her collections have been published, some of them have been translated into other languages. Since 1978 she was a member of Writers Union of Armenia. Wrote 13 books, dozens of essays, memoirs and about 400 publicistic articles. For her merit in architecture field she received Honorary Diploma from Architects Union of Armenia. In 1986 Margo Ghukasyan received Honorary Journalist of Armenia title, in 2011 “Movses Khorenatsi” medal. Died in Yerevan.
