Maro Muradyan was born in Yerevan. In 1976 she founded "Akunq" ethnographic ensemble, from 1976 to 1987 was the artistic director. Hayrik Muradyan's daughter was aimed to continue her father's work by passing on numerous folk songs to her nation. In 1981 "Akunq" ensemble received the status of the state ensemble of the State Radio and TV of Armenia. The ensemble gave concerts in the cities of the USSR and abroad. She died in Yerevan.
