Vazgen Talyan

Vazgen Talyan was born in Alexandrapol (present day Gyumri). In 1915 his family moved to Tiflis where he took secondary education. In 1931 Vazgen finished Yerevan State University the Faculty of Historiography. He was a participant in Second World War. He wrote poems, tales and fables most of them were translated into Russian, Ukrainian and into other languages. From 1973 worked in the library of Khnko Aper. Vazgen Talyan died in Yerevan.
