Zadina Shakr

Zadîna Şakir (also spelled Zadîna Şeker) was one of the women dengbêj singers of Radio Yerevan's Kurdish-language broadcasts. Aslîka Qadir recalled her, together with Sûsika Simo and Belga Qado, as women singers who faced social disapproval for singing on the radio, and a Rudaw retrospective singles out her song "Dêre Sorê Piçûkê". Her recordings are kept in the Public Radio of Armenia archive.
