Music from Soviet Armenian feature films; Armenian cinema's main studio, Armenfilm (Hayfilm), was founded in Yerevan in 1923. Arno Babajanian's songs for The Song of First Love (1958), sung by Sergey Davidyan, make it the first post-war Soviet film in which jazz was heard. Other composers represented include Konstantin Orbelyan, Tigran Mansurian, Artemi Ayvazyan and Edvard Mirzoyan; the recordings date from 1952 to 1986.
