Fairy tales and fables read or dramatised for radio, recorded between 1950 and 2003. At the core are the tales of Hovhannes Tumanyan (1869–1923), Armenia's national poet, such as The Death of Kikos (1913), Shrovetide (Barekendan) and Master and Servant, many of them read by the reciter Suren Kocharyan (1904–1979), People's Artist of the Armenian SSR. Armenian folk tales and translated stories such as The Little Humpbacked Horse complete the set.
