Lala Mnatsakanyan was born in Yerevan. She studied at school N78 in Yerevan, in 1978 she finished Arts and Theatre Institute. Since 1991 she teaches stage speech at Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography (Professor since 2008). She played in theatre, cinema and TV. Mnatsakanyan was an author and presenter of several TV programs during 1997 to 2001. Since 2001 she staged a lot of performances. Lala Mnatsakanyan is a laureate of international and national competitions, screenwriter of 140 miniatures and director. She is a co-author of the first textbook “The Art of Stage Speech” in Armenian, starred in many films. In 2006 she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Armenia.
