Olga Gabayan was born in Yerevan. She finished N55 school after A. Chekhov, in 1966 Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory the Department of opera art. She is a winner of several competitions. Between 1966 to 1982 she has worked at State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet as a soloist. Since 1992 teaches at Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory (Professor since 2003). In 1984 Olga Gabayan was awarded the title of People's Artist of Armenia, in 2016 she was awarded with Second Degree medal "For services to Homeland".
