Garun Kga (Spring Will Come) (Duet Of Anush And Saro From "Anoush" Opera)

Haykanush Danielyan was born in Tbilisi. In 1920 she graduated from the Petrograd Conservatory, the class of N. Iretskaya. From 1920 to 1922 Danielyan worked as a chamber musician for the Musical Comedy Theater directed by K. Marjishvili in Petrograd. She sang in the State Theater of Opera and Ballet in Tbilisi from 1922 to 1932. From 1932 Danielyan worked at the Yerevan State Opera Theater. Between 1943 to 1951 she taught at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (Professor since 1949), from 1949 to 1952 she was the director of the 10-years Music School after P. Tchaikovsky in Yerevan. She was a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the 2nd convocation of the USSR and the supreme commander of the 1st and 3rd convocations of Armenia. Danielyan was awarded with the Order of Lenin and the Red Banner of Labor. In 1939 she was awarded the title of the People's Artist of the USSR (the first Armenian singer to win the title). Died in Yerevan.
