Efoyê Esed (Afo Asad; full name Efoyê Esedê Sefo; 1 December 1927 – 29 December 1999) was a Kurdish dengbêj singer from Armenia, born in the Yazidi village of Heko in the Talin district. He knew many dance, wedding and heroic songs, among them "Berîvanê", "Şîrîn Şêxê" and "Dayê Merûmê". He performed as a guest artist on Yerevan Radio, where more than 15 of his songs were recorded; the recordings are kept in the radio's archive. He spent his last years in Russia and was buried in the village of Bezopasnoye in Stavropol Krai.
