Ashugh Saza was born in Ghshlagh village (Artsvaqar) of New Bayazet. The absence of a school in the village pushes Agadzhan to self-education, he studied ashugh mastery in the village Ddmashen of Sevan. In 1864 ashugh Saza returned to his village as a master ashugh, since 1865 his performances began. For some time he worked at Tiflis cafe with ashugh Jivani. In 1874 returned to his homeland and worked there until his death. Died in Artsvaqar. His songs were published after his death.
