Զարիե վասե

Aram Tigran (born Aram Melikyan; 1934 – 8 August 2009) was an Armenian singer born in Qamishli, Syria, who sang mainly in Kurdish, and also in Arabic, Syriac, Armenian and Greek. In 1966 he moved to Yerevan, where he worked for Radio Yerevan for eighteen years. He left Armenia in 1995 and died in Athens, Greece. His recordings are kept in the archive of the Public Radio of Armenia.
