In the early 2000s the station was renamed the Public Radio of Armenia, and in 2005 it became a full member of the European Broadcasting Union. The decade's recordings in the archive are largely sacred and historical: liturgical music by Komitas and Makar Yekmalyan, reissued recordings of Armenak Shahmuradyan, a tenor of Komitas's school, and hymns sung by Lusine Zakaryan. Alongside them are songs by Arthur Ispirian, who recorded his first jazz album in 2001.
